Havelock

Havelock, Elstead Road

Built about 1885 as the stables/gatehouse for Charnwood. It was originally called Charnwood Cottage but a previous occupant, Mrs. Greenwood, changed the name in 1970, calling it after the town in New Zealand where her brother lived. The house retains features relating to its use as stables.
