The trees of Peper Harow….in 2000

In 2000 the trees in the park were  surveyed by a man from the Tree Register. This is a list and map of all the important trees in Peper Harow Park.

Peper Harow tree list and map

What follows is an entertaining and thoughtful letter from Owen Johnson, the man who documented the trees.

As a point of information it is worth noting that the yew tree in the churchyard has since been dated using modern dendrochronolgoy techniques to 800 years old.
