Our Village Shop

Our Village Shop is a fantastic resource – the true heart of the village. There is a coterie of volunteers who manage the shop behind the scenes: Nick Mitchell, Suzanne Kershaw, Fiona Vanstone, Sarah Harris, Matthew Mayes (Postmaster), Jo Glover, Charlie Anderson-Sumner and many others. Nick Mitchell runs the 100 Club which helps the shop financially as well as giving prizes.

IF YOU WANT A SHOP IN THE VILLAGE, SHOP IN THE VILLAGE!

The  shop  is stocked with an amazingly wide array of food and drink, able to satisfy the most discerning of residents in Shackleford and the surrounding communities.

From local cheeses, to pies, meat and veg; from hand-made chocolate to juices and wine. We even have a freezer section of ready meals and ice creams made locally.

And there is a wide range of household basics for when you run out of dishwasher tablets, gravy powder or pet food.

There is even a small boutiquey gift shop to avoid the embarrassment of a forgotten birthday.

With dry cleaning, newspapers and greeting cards, why make the trip into Godalming?

Please support the Shackleford Village Shop…it’s one of the ways we keep Shackleford rather special
