There’s a bit of recent history behind this house. The previous owner of the house next door got planning permission for a stable, then built a luxurious two-storey ‘stable’ the size of a house. He tried several times to get planning permission to convert it to a house – which was the plan all along – and eventually it was granted after he had moved to Priorsfield. The buyers then converted it into the house it is today.
